Ternopil region has become a refuge for mothers from other cities. People came to us and are going to give birth from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mariupol, those places where active hostilities are taking place. Since February 24, the beginning of the war, 122 children have been born in the Ternopil region. Stories of mothers giving birth or going to give birth under fire to safe places have shocked women from abroad. That’s why foreign mothers rallied and collected baby boxes, which our Ukrainian mothers already receive.
