We were not ready for war and did not believe until the last moment that it could happen. But it happened! And on February 24, at a meeting of the coordinating inter-church headquarters, it was decided to establish refugee reception centers in our communities, missions and charities. To implement this plan, it was necessary to prepare locations, create appropriate conditions for refugees who will come. The biggest need was in places to sleep. There were very few mattresses available.

In the first days of the war, the influx of people was not so great and we were able to provide them with accommodation from what we had, but over time the number of refugees increased very rapidly.

It was at this time that we began to receive goods from philanthropists from abroad, namely: mattresses and bedding (blankets, pillows, bedding, sleeping bags, etc.).

Immediately after receiving it, the process of quick distribution of aid to the centers that receive migrants in Ternopil and neighboring regions began.

We were able to provide 25 locations in Ternopil and 10 locations in neighboring areas with beds. It has more than 2,500 mattresses and 3,000 bedding.

Each location has made cozy places to sleep and relax. Where they were able to receive hundreds and some thousands of migrants, enveloping them with care and love.
