On March 1, 2022, Kherson was completely occupied by Russian troops. Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the territory of the Kherson region has been under constant attacks.
On November 11, the Armed Forces of Ukraine entered the city. After 256 days of occupation, Kherson was liberated and our team was able to go to the liberated territories.
The road to Kherson for the team from the very beginning was intensive, extremely difficult physically and morally.
Kherson is a city that is constantly under fire. The proof is that even during those 24 hours on the road, there were already news about new rockets hitting infrastructure and residential buildings.
It was remembered from the stories of the team, how one man came to help and immediately began to tell about the night shelling that they had experienced. His 84-year-old mother miraculously survived after a rocket hit her temporary dwelling.
Currently, people live in extremely difficult conditions in the liberated Kherson region. Russians destroyed practically the entire infrastructure there – energy, gas, water, roads.
We believe that we will soon restore everything. And we do everything possible to help every single Ukrainian.
