Together with the city territorial center of social services and volunteers in the period 4-5 January 2021 visited about 200 lonely and needy residents of Ternopil.
The COVID-19 pandemic has made lonely people even more lonely. These are often elderly people who are at risk. They need care and attention, because even such things as buying groceries or going to the pharmacy to get them are not always possible. Especially now that they are exposing themselves to the danger of contracting the virus.
Christmas is the best time to think about such people and show them attention and warmth, to bring a holiday to their homes. Volunteers and social workers visited single people, sang carols and presented food packages.
