Volunteers and social workers visited single people and donated food packages. The purpose of the action was not only to help with food, but also to show attention and have good communication. For many people, this visit came as a pleasant surprise – they were touched and could not hold back tears of joy.
The team of volunteers also visited the Ternopil Regional Hospital “Hospice”. This is an institution where there are seriously ill patients with a predicted death.
The main purpose of staying there is to make the last days of patients’ lives easier.Everyone who lives in the institution received a fruit basket and a special time for communication.
For the people who are there, living their last days, it was a great joy and encouragement.
