This is what the hero cities of Ukraine look like today. Our team visited Irpin and Mykolaiv with humanitarian aid. Many terrible stories have been heard from people who have survived these terrible events. Here are some of them: “I witnessed the most terrible moment. The neighbor ran outside when he heard the explosions, but did not have time to look around as he was shot. Hearing the terrible shots, his wife ran out immediately and was killed at the same place. It seems to me that only a few seconds have passed since their already grown son came out. I think you can guess what the outcome was” with tears in her eyes, a woman told us about the death of an entire family in one day. “I’m Tamara Mykolayivna, and this is my house…” the words of a woman standing near the ruins of her house. “When my family and I evacuated, it was very scary to drive on the road. It was forever remembered how a shot car stood with a dead man lying next to it. Then a frightened woman with a child in her arms got out of the car and ran along the road.” said a woman resident of the liberated city.

It was hard not to pay attention to the large-scale destruction of the past few months. Our country continues to be relentlessly destroyed. It is unbearable to see the sad eyes of a child who came to its already destroyed house to search for toys. How to explain to a child that today it will not have to spend the night in its own bed and house?!

In addition to the destruction, you can see long queues for humanitarian aid. People have a great need not only for food, but also for drinking water. Every day, more than 400 people come with bottles to the relief points to collect water for a while. People are stocking up not only with food, but also with flashlights, candles, hygiene products and blankets. Despite all the difficulties, people without doubt believe in our victory and are looking forward to it.
