Together with the Ternopil City Council and the Council of Evangelical Protestant Churches of the city, with the American partner Together Ministry, we organized the project “Let’s Unite Around the Children of Ukraine.” The project was organized for children of fallen and missing soldiers. The event was attended by 14 children from the Ternopil region, aged 10 to 16, who went to Ephrata, Pennsylvania, for a three-week vacation and rehabilitation in the United States. This visit is very important as the war continues. Children who have lost their parents are exposed to traumatic experiences when they hear warnings of air strikes and are exposed to other signs of war.

Together, we aim to provide social and spiritual rehabilitation, which includes quality recreation in a safe environment with American families and families of the Ukrainian diaspora abroad in the United States. There they will be able to relax, socialize with their peers, learn about the culture of the nation, visit museums, parks, churches, and schools. They will also meet with local authorities and visit the Congress in Washington, DC.

We wish them a good rest, new impressions, positive emotions and mental recovery. We expect a lot of stories and fascinating experiences that will be remembered for a long time.
