As the war continues to affect the lives of every Ukrainian family, creating safe spaces for children and teenagers is more important than ever. That is why ‘Light of the Reformation’ Charitable Found has been running children’s and teenagers’ clubs at our Center of Care for several years. These clubs provide a welcoming environment where participants can make new friends, develop their talents, and simply enjoy being part of a caring community.

Over the years, these clubs have become an important part of the Foundation’s work and a favorite place for many children and teenagers in Ternopil. They are attended by children from military families, internally displaced families, and local residents. For many of them, the clubs are not only a place to enjoy meaningful activities and spend their free time, but also a source of support, new friendships, and positive experiences.

The children’s club meets twice a week and offers creative workshops, interactive activities, outdoor games, and board games. In a friendly and supportive atmosphere, children develop their abilities, learn to interact with others, and enjoy meaningful time together.

The Wild Life teenagers’ club also meets weekly. Participants enjoy team-building activities, games, competitions, engaging conversations, and discussions about topics that matter to them. These gatherings help teenagers build healthy relationships, strengthen their communication skills, and find support during an important stage of growing up.

Today, as many children and teenagers continue to experience stress, anxiety, displacement, or the loss of their familiar social circles, these regular meetings have become especially valuable. They help reduce isolation, build new friendships, strengthen self-confidence, and foster a sense of belonging within the community.

We believe that investing in children and teenagers today is an investment in Ukraine’s future. That is why we remain committed to creating an environment where every child has the opportunity to grow, discover their potential, and look to the future with hope.
